Since I witnessed astrology magically changing my life in 2017, my interest in the sky has deepened even more. Understanding this ancient knowledge that helped me get to know myself - a process that I think is still ongoing - and sharing what I learned became a desire that came from deep inside me. I believed that opening up to an area I did not know while realizing my true purpose in life (sharing, deepening, living my passions) would be very educational. With this belief, I decided to embark on a new journey with "AstroDüÅŸün".
I wish to talk, understand, and learn astrology with you in an enjoyable and entertaining way. I think astrology is not just about consulting. And honestly, I now care more about sharing information rather than consulting.
I think the first Saturn Return (in Pisces) and Sun Aquarius (in my ninth house) placement tells me that it is time for such a change of perspective. Of course, I listen to what is being said with complete Pisces surrender, saying "I am okay with whatever Saturn says" :)
So, what will you find in AstroDusun?
I aim to tell astrology information in an entertaining, thought-provoking and educational way by connecting it with the events that happen to me and my environment. It would be nice to think of it as an astrology blog.
In addition, I will try to tell important celestial agendas as much as possible. Because it is good to follow the current affairs ;) If you want to follow the current affairs with me or are curious about the astrological equivalent of my experiences, you can subscribe for free.

I am Işıl. I am an Aquarius with Gemini ascendant. I was born on February 14. Since my childhood, whenever I tell anyone my birthday, I get funny responses like "oh, your lover will buy you "just" a gift, for both the two special days" :)
I have been a hardworking and organized person since primary school. I love writing. When I was little, my dream was to publish a magazine. Every summer, with my friends at the summer house, I would publish magazines that literally no one else read. We would cut and paste photos from the magazines we had on colored cardboards, mix the information in those magazines next to them and write articles. That's why it is very valuable for me to create my own blog and write articles online years later. I am officially realizing a childhood dream now. Yeah!
On the other hand, I studied politics in my undergraduate degree, gender in my graduate degree and now I am doing research on gender studies in my doctorate. Academia is also a field that feeds me. I hope that in time, I will start contributing to academia.
AstroDusun was a project I started during the pandemic. But I couldn't figure out how to evolve it. As I said, I didn't want to build an astrology career based "solely" on consulting. Rather, I realized that I wanted to show how astrology is intertwined with life.
Dear astrothinkers (sounds good?? :)), astrology is not a pile of information or a field of prophecy consisting of predictions. It is a pursuit that is about understanding one's own place in the world, in society and within one's family, and understanding oneself.
I hope our paths cross.
