The Time of Expanding Your Horizons

The New Moon happened in 9th degree of Sagittarius at the 1st of December. While conjuncted with Mercury in retrograde, she supports us to think bigger, to expand our vision and horizon, also to discover and express our inner truth and intentions.

In mythology, the themes of Sagittarius are based on an archer who has not just arrows but also an ideology, a philosophy and a belief. This archer comes from Scorpion's dark and deep atmosphere and is here to become a passionate warrior who has a duty to perceive and to express the truth of life.

This new moon lets firstly rethink us the circumstances made us squezzed, secondly finding out the ways of living in relief and going beyond the boundaries which may be mental or physical. Let's give an example! Imagine that for a while, you have been stuck in familiar environment, known things, nothing new and fresh. Antares is a one of Royal Fixed Stars. This is actually called "Anti-Ares" which means against Ares (Mars in Roman Mythology). It brings us high level success, power and brave, as well as destroying, exaggreated things and danger. Because of that, like the other Royal Fixed Stars, Antares has rules too. If we are out of the rules, the Star shows its dark side and our life becomes tragedy unfortunately. Ok, well, what are the rules? Do not take revenge, be honest your reality, be true, be close to share your knowledge and other sources (money, talents etc. of course in logical level).

9th degree of Sagittarius (at sidearel time it belongs to Scorpion) is the place of Antares. So, while the new moon brings us new beginnings, they are related to gain power, fame and success. This Fixed Star emphasizes to the being true and honest to our reality and refraining revenge.

The Role of Saturn

Saturn is the hidden actor of the Sagittarius New Moon. He sees the new moon in angle of square as Jupiter. There occurs T-square in mutable signs. All of them mean that there is flexible conditions which can easily create changes in our intentions, environments we belong to, our relationships and also partnerships. In this position, the role of Saturn is to remind us taking responsibilities and making well-prepared strategy before new beginnings.
